Steel beams are now being erected to finish the west/dirt end of the building which includes a free-span section to accomodate equistrian and other events. The North annex which houses restrooms, offices and a kitchen/concession is also now built and enclosed. With the concrete floor poured 1/2/12, work continues inside as well as outside the building. High School Ag Career Day
Governor Sam Brownback performed the ribbing cutting, officially opening the 2011 Garden City 3i SHOW. Also in attendance was Secretary of Commerce Pat George. High Plains Journal representatives are always hard at work getting subscriptions at the 3i SHOW. The 3i SHOW is the best place for farmers to visit with company representatives and see equipment first-hand. Tools always seem to be a hot item! US Senator Jerry Moran and US Congressman Tim Huelskamp answered questions regarding the Kansas and US economy. The Congressional Forum on Friday, May 6, drew an excellent crowd! This year's Trucks and Bucks Kansas Lottery giveaway was a 2011 GMC Canyon ZQ8 Crew Cab. The drawing was held on the show grounds at the close of the show Friday, May 6. And the winner is . . . Pat Peterson of Topeka.

The Great Bend Avenue of Flags greets all who attend the 3i SHOW! The 3i SHOW runs smoothly thanks to multiple committees and hundreds of volunteers! GMC continues to be an extremely valued partner for the 3i SHOW, hosting many activities including Opening Ceremonies. Moly's live cattle demonstration continues to be a popular exhibit. The 3i SHOW is the place to be to see multiple brands of equipment in one place! The infield parking fills up as show attendees arrive! The 3i SHOW has been around for generations and generations of families to enjoy, this one being the 56th Annual. The 3i SHOW was host to some exciting speed action in 2010 with electric remote control car races providing fun for ALL AGES!

Dennis McKinney, Kansas State Treasurer, opened the 2009 3i SHOW. The ribbon cutting was performed with Garden City Chamber of Commerce representatives, WKMA board members, and show chair Wes Allred. Loyde Davis, long-time WKMA board volunteer and Active Member. WKMA is proud to continue working in sponsorship with the Kansas State Lottery and GMC. A 2009 GMC Sierra All-Terrain E85 Crew Cab was given away in a second-chance drawing . The winner is drawn every year prior to close the last day of the 3i SHOW. Jon Mollhagen set up a very successful live cattle demonstration at the 2009 3i SHOW. Lang Diesel represents many brands including Sunflower, AGCO, Gleaner, Hesston, Mille Sprayers and Massey Ferguson. This first-time exhibitor drew the attention of show attendees with its interesting display models of Argo, Tank, and Kameleon. Attendees fly into Garden City from other states in private planes to attend the 3i SHOW.

Great Bend welcomes 3i SHOW attendees with the exhibitors Avenue of Flags. Eddie Estes, President/CEO of WKMA, sponsor of the annual 3i SHOW, opens the 2008 Great Bend show with Lt. Governor Mark Parkinson and Secretary of Commerce David Kerr. Jan Westfall, the first female 3i SHOW Chair, thanks all the volunteers, chamber members and exhibitors for making the 3i SHOW such a great tradition and success. Jim Vopat and Ron Straub were the 2008 3i SHOW Co-Chairs. They have both been involved in the 3i SHOW in many capacities over many, many years. GMC has been a great partner of the 3i SHOW, bringing live music and allowing their exhibit tent to be utilized for MANY 3i SHOW functions. GMC representatives David Burch and Gene Hynes were asked to participate in opening ceremonies and were thanked for their continued support! Barton County Community College sponsored the 2008 High School Ag Career Day. This year was the biggest crowd ever. Thank you BCCC! The room was filled with participants for the 2008 High School Ag Career Day. KFRM held a meat-testing event at the 2008 3i SHOW. The Kansas Lottery sponsored the Hot Lotto Sizzling Sierra promotion and gave away a 2008 3i Show Special Edition GMC Sierra E85 Crew Cab Truck.
